Otsuka Shanghai Research Institute, located in Zhangjiang Hi-tech Park at Pudong District Shanghai, is a wholly owned subsidiary invested by Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. through Otsuka (China) Investment Co., Ltd.. After intense preparation for half a year, OSRI opened the business formally on Dec.16, 2008. And leaders from Pudong Government, Zhangjiang Group etc. attended the opening ceremony and cut the ribbon for OSRI.
Otsuka Shanghai Research Institute dedicates itself to research and develop new medicine. That OPC set up OSRI in Pudong district possesses a grand strategic significance and injects new force into furthering the prosperity of the Chinese medicine research and development.
